Dance your most authentic and connected self to life
There’s a question I’ve been dancing for years— one that shapes my morning practice, my teaching, my relationships, my everything:
“How do I free up as much of my life force as possible,
and let my most authentic self move in the world?”
Every time I step onto a dance floor, these questions breathe through me.
And it’s not just about dance.
“How you move in dance is how you move in life.”
Pasha Lyndi
Working with the Animal Body and the Relational Body, I invite you into that enquiry with me.
Because when we follow the wisdom of the body — when we truly follow it — insights emerge with more truth and raw power than any analysis or polishing of performance.
My workshops and dance spaces exist to create that shift.
🐆 THE ANIMAL BODY
Arriving in the body is a homecoming.
We start by learning the love language of the Animal Body, felt sensation.
A dropping down… into instinct and impulse… the cosy deliciousness of the body moving YOU, rather than the other way around.
Think human purring.
Think the pleasure of the lazy cat.
Think the soft animal of your body sighing, “Ahhh… finally!”

No performing.
No striving.
No fast-food culture of “Click this, get that.”
Just embodied purrrrr-mission.
Following the Yes and No of the body.
Listening and letting life put YOU into motion.
You can’t push your way there. Like a fern frond unfurling, you’ll feel your body opening, as your system finally trusts that it’s safe to open to the light.
I refer to this as the yin of the Animal Body.
Then we get a little more yang… bringing intention, focus and play. A bit more fire!
Through explorations like Nine Directions and Footprints in the Sand, we expand our range of movement.
Picture yourself…
🐆 Oiling the hips
🐆 Dropping into a gentle, grounded squat
🐆 Rolling, crouching, prowling
🐆 Striding with the grizzly power of strong legs
🐆 Balancing on tiptoes, lifting, bouncing
🐆 Full-breasted expansion through the chest
This is our playground.
What unfolds is creativity without force, confidence without effort — the sweet honey of simple responding that your Animal Body has always known.
How to feel alive and authentic? This is what we learn from the Animal Body becoming the teacher.
Come to a class or training with me and I’ll guide some of the twenty-or-so exercises from the Animal Body, to get you out of your mind and into your body. The somatic tools we use are simple and easy to remember, so they can continue to help you for decades afterwards.
⭐️ THE RELATIONAL BODY
Once we are anchored in our authenticity, we start moving together.
This is where the deeper intelligence of connection works its magick.
As soon as two bodies breathe and move together, a soft calm arrives. That’s co-regulation — the most powerful medicine in community.
After establishing group co-regulation, we deepen our exploration.
How do we approach? How do we retreat?
How so we state our boundaries? How do we make contact?
Our movement signature reveals our relational style long before words arrive.
So the Relational Body has us playing with…
⭐️ Boundaries
⭐️ The spaces between bodies
⭐️ Shy meetings (yes, shyness, like all emotions, is welcome and loved!)
⭐️ The moment chemistry sparks
⭐️ The moment nerves kick in
⭐️ How we ‘find the game’ and weave a dance together
⭐️ Mirroring, leading, following, yielding
⭐️ Stepping into the limelight and being witnessed
⭐️ The energy that wants to dance between us

We explore how these states show up in daily life… and how dance gently re-patterns the way we relate.
How we dance within our constellations.
Working with the twenty-or-so exercises from the Relational Body brings out tenderness, laughter, play, truth, vulnerability, and those “Gahhh… that’s so me!” moments of self-recognition and empathy.
This changes not only how we relate to the dance floor, but how we relate to the world.

A DAY OF DANCING OURSELVES ALIVE
In the forthcoming workshop, Animal Body, Relational Body,
I invite you into these enquiries with me.

A DAY FOR TRUST, TRUTH, PLAY and COMMUNITY
I’ve seen again and again how safe dance spaces reshape a person — how they help us meet our edges with fun and courage… how we share our vulnerability with finesse, and allow us to be seen in the fullness of who we are.
This work is for people who want to feel more alive, more connected, more at home in their bodies and in community.
I can’t wait to welcome you!
And to witness what unfolds between us, as we dance ourselves fully, wildly, beautifully, harmoniously alive.
